I don't know if it's pulled up yet but the Lassen Valley Railway did get permission to abandon
Flanigan to Wendel. At one time fairly recently there was a tie reclaim/scrap facility on the
branch about a half mile north of the Flanigan connector. Susanville up to the SPI decision to
close the mill had both Jel-Wend and Sierra-Pacific as outbound shippers. Jel-Wend closed their
facility because their raw material was coming from SPI.
