When Disneyland was under construction Walt financed much of it by selling what today would be called "naming rights". Santa Fe had those rights but some years prior to Amtrak the contract expired. You may notice that many corporate sponsors names have quietly been dropped over the years since the park was opened. Walt actually owned the railroad in fact the Disney family still does.
