Glad that I caught this before somebody else did...

SP 1400 class steam locomotives were indeed of the 4-4-0 wheel arrangement, but they were all off of the roster (or very nearly so) by this time. 1402 was gone by 1925 and the same with 1404.

Frank's notation of of these two numbers likely reflects early diesels.

Any takers on what type these two were?
