This film shows why Dodge was known as " The FARMER'S Car ".
For many years, my dad's shop truck was a 1969 Dodge 3/4 ton pickup. Solid axles on both ends with leaf springs and drum brakes on all 4 corners, Armstrong steering, 8 ply tube - type bias tires on split rims -- What a BEAST !!! The only option on the whole truck was the ( World's Best ) Torqueflight Automatic transmission !!!
All that considered, I wish I had that truck today. You could not KILL THAT TRUCK ( and God knows I tried !!! ). It still exists somewhere in SoCal, in the employ of one of my dad's former employees. My dad says it was the best $1800. bucks ( used ) he ever spent !!!
