As for co-operative cows, lol - had my shot set up until they walked into the shot, reset up and as expected, the train scared them away - started with 4 or 5, happy to catch one! Funny thing, I thought I missed him altogether as I scrolled through my thumbs all set to a magnified crop.

Amtrak - actually, coincidentally, yes, they often do pass but the window is short and can be missed by minutes if not seconds by a late Amtrak, a late run on Strasburg's part or an expedient departure. An NS train sometimes also makes an appearance.
