RE: Caltrain
What is THAT about??
When did the Feds ban EMU from , say, the NE Corridor mainline?
Doesn't Amtrak share the route with SEPTA, NJT EMUs anymore?

RE: TRAX in Draper Utah

Readers may know, or not, that when the Draper area was developed the ex-UP tracks were in place and the Transit authority made the developer build new double track bridges to support them and the "future" second track. The bridges, of which I believe there are at least 3, are designed for the highest Cooper loading PLUS steam locomotive impact. UTA's engineer is/was exUP.

It appears that most "news" articles from the media are NIMBY biased, if one reads most articles about DM&E, Ft Carson "land grab" etc.
