Here's an article that was missed in Larry's morning list [thanks to Larry - thank you - keep up the good work].
Anyway here's a link to the Great Falls Tribune concerning storage of excess rail cars on the old Great Northern line south of Great Falls to Helena, Montana.

I lived for nearly thirty years in Montana and all you ever hear when you live there is whining - whining about the weather, whining about the farm subsidies, whining about this and that -----.
After reading this article - it is easy to see the whining attitude - fly-fishing in December???
Get out of here!
This article is BS at it’s greatest – I think Gus from BNSF has the proper prospective – “locals” – get over it!
It appears that most Montanan's have turned into wimps and fail to see if it were not for the railroads [Montana Central - from Great Falls to Butte] there would be no "Montana" as it is known today.
I just wonder what the NIMBY's and transplants expect the state [any state or locale] they move into to look like after the "lock-it" up with constant ridiculous complaints about EVERYTHING.
Anyway - nice photo of an embargoed line.
Talk to ya later,
Dale Jones
