Both previous responses have excellent points and I think the big one (especially for California)
is that you miss what the conditions when you were young. In my case that was LA county before the
crowds, the end of SP steam and a major variety of rail subjects. Memories are great but you can't
go back and sometimes that's tough to deal with (like ending a sentence with a preposition!!).
