Let's pretend that it's April 1st (and the snow is all melted and it's warm--yeah!!) and we can start a good story (April Fool's joke, rumor, fable, fish story...). I would start with:
The MRLX stands for the Marshall, Rosalia, Lewiston Express--after the rebuilding of the line between Moscow and Spaulding--for a new rail route to move grain from the EWG at Cheney to barges at Lewiston. They will use F-units and 40' boxcars (and cabooses). (Opening for a Telegrapher at Pullman, Bruce B.).
