CTC on UP Spokane Sub

I've noticed that UP is installing CTC at Trentwood, WA east (UP north) of Spokane on the Spokane Sub (former Spokane International). Since the SI has always been a dark railroad this is quite a change. Does anyone know is this is a Trentwood only thing, to deal with congestion from the local and meets, or is it going to continue up the SI?
