One of the interesting things about this forum is the ability to post with a fake moniker. It seems to remove inhibitions of some people and they say some unusual things to put it mildly.

As for forums that do not allow fake monikers, Trainfoamers seems to be back. My userid worked but not my password (if I remembered it correctly). The system sent me a new password to my e-mail address and I logged on. The latest post is November 27, 2013. It's hard to tell when they began posts again. I've been checking every few weeks or so but the site has been incomplete.
Now it seems to work again. Beautiful shot of UP 4014 on the So Cal section.

I hope BigBNSF reads this and starts posting again.
