Yes, I already asked this question, and I got a lot of answers on all the political BS that happened before and how the powers-that-be of SeaTac Airport will let you drive a rental truck loaded full of who knows what right up to the terminal, but wanted to keep the light rail line outside of the facility.

However.... NOBODY ANSWERED MY ACTUAL QUESTION!

The line looks to be almost done. Yet it won't open until mid-year 2009, if there aren't any further delays. Forget what happened before now, my simple question is why do we have to wait so much longer for the trains to start running?

What work needs completed that I'm missing? OK, testing and driver training, but what else? Is there a lot of electrical work left, or other factors I'm not aware of?

Can anyone answer that question (without a debate on where the line at Heathrow runs?)
