Juice Jacks in Tacoma

Electrification was still going strong when I visited the Milwaukee facilities in Tacoma. The date was July 7, 1963 and I had just graduated from high school.

E-47 is serviced and awaiting the call to duty.

E-22 is peeking out of the shop building. This locomotive was semi-streamlined with the addition of the stylish cab to apease the asthetic tastes of the passenger train riding public.
