The article on Port of Seattle & the BNSF Eastside line has my attention. Nice to see the Port, and local elected officials, realize the logic of converting the line into commuter rail. At least some of them recognize how difficult it is to ever relay rails on a trail. Can't help but wonder if the Port's funding may dry up in the wake of the recent critical audit by the State Auditor's office. Now that the Fed is investigating, the purse strings may tighten.
