I forgot about the nice one at East Sand Pass, NV. The long tangent between Sano and Reynard 10 miles to the east is visable at night when the signals are lined up to look line a string of jewels. I haven't been there in 16 years, so I don't know what the tribal police's tollerance is for overnighters anymore. They (Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe) normally came by at some point during the day to check out every vehicle they spotted, but were friendly once they were assured that you weren't poaching cattle. They were always very eager to check out scanners to make sure that they weren't 2-way radios. Westbounds can be seen coming for a half hour before they get to you.
