Two unfortunate things--in that timespan, the cyclical global climate will begin to swing back the other way. At that time, the bandwagon-jumpers will puff up their chests and proclaim that their insignificant little human "acts" saved the planet.

As for writing our legislators, the worst of the pack are on "that" side of the State. If you aren't one of their constituents, you don't matter in their eyes because you can't participate in their re-election. Now, maybe if you wrote them a huge check..................
