A few of us are building an HO scale display of LAUPT for its 75th anniversary. It will be at the downtown LA City Library 5/7 thru 8/10/14. The model will be on a 4' x 4 board & will include the Walthers model of LAUPT (ticket office, waiting room & arcade). The Harvey House, baggage building, north & south court yards plus a few other little details are being added. Bill Kift & Mike DeGhetto of Alpine Division Scale Models is providing the laser cut walls for the non Wathers buildings. There will be only four tracks - 3 for passenger cars & 1 for the baggage building. There will also be 2 platforms w/ the ramps to the tunnel. And being only 4' wide there won't be any complete trains.
