SP's River Station Yards - the Corn Field and Bull Ring - were divided by the "Links", a series of double-slip (puzzle) switches. The current MTA maintenance facility north of the Broadway St. bridge occupies what was SP's Midway yard. North of Midway (RR west) across the LA River was Taylor Yard.
