The days when any town of any size on the SP in the valley had an assigned switcher. Dad put in a
filler line at the Gallo facility on Clovis, we were staying in Clovis. One year the switcher was
a C-9, the next year a pretty new Alco S-2. Wish I'd been a kid with a camera.
