What stress and hours? TriMet management? Work half as much, get every weekend and holiday guaranteed off, pension/healthcare/bennies for life, and absolutely no accountability if you totally screw up. In fact, screwing up is encouraged.

At TriMet life sucks if you're a bus driver, but if you're in management so what if you earn $10K less a year than in the private sector? You're more secure in your job than a tenured University professor, and more protected from failure than a television meteorologist.
