You do mean C40-8's and C30-7s, along with some C36-7s on the old Oakland Subdivision! Yes, I still remember seeing my first C40-8 with the beveled nose and EMD's SD60 of the same time frame. I always liked the appearance of the standard cab C40-8. That was what, 1989?
