N&W Y6a 2156 to Steam once again ?

In his very entertaining speech today (05-30-2014) N&W Chairman Wick Moorman stated that an agreement had been reached with St. Louis to "borrow" the N&W Y6b...who knows what this could lead to.

From another source, regarding N&W 2156:

Today N&W 2156 is one of the attractions at the Museum of Transportation in St. Louis. It sits cosmetically restored, but has not operated in several decades. Although there is some sentiment for restoring 2156 to operational condition, doing so would be a massive undertaking that, even if possible, would probably cost millions of dollars and take years to complete.

In 2014, the St. Louis Museum of Transportation announced that a 5 year lease has been agreed upon between them and the Virginia Transportation of Transportation in Roanoke, Virginia. 2156 will be towed to Roanoke.
