San Berdooo is still a great RR town.

San Berdoo has something for every rail, rail-fan, or train nut: it has a wonderfully restored station, a fantastic RR museum, dozens of daily passenger movements (lots of Metrolink and an Amtrak), dozens more passing in BNSF and UP freight operations, intermodal yard-multiple passenger yards-that is not the recently added Metrolink maintenance facility, that is down the "passenger main" toward Colton-flyovers, freeway art...etc..

There's even a food counter in the depot now, but, unfortunately, no cold beer last time I was there (sure would be nice this time of the year), and no good outside seating....so you'll still have to go to Fullerton for a cold one out on the platform.

Maybe, someday, someone could make a go of the old Harvey House Restaurant-sure would make a great patio bar and grill?

If you want to see choo choo-this is the place.
