Wow, Ralph, that's a little harsh. Probably not "yellow journalism" as such, but shoddy work. I'm a newspaperman, and if my reporter came to me with that story, I would tell them to do it over. Although many editors, especially if your newspaper isn't local to Slinger and that area, probably wouldn't have known "Southern and Wisconsin" was wrong. Fact is, most non-railfans, and most reporters, don't understand railroads very well --- a fact often bemoaned on these threads.
