I have not been to the new golf course "Ladenburg Links" but thought it was waste of public money (from the sewer fund) but now all the people are excited...but I'll stop there on the rant.
The idea of Sounder running trains to the site makes me laugh. I'm sure BNSF won't want any passenger trains on that track unless they get some $$$$$.
And not knowing that area except for south , does BNSF blow their whistle as they go by the golf course? I know Steilacoom has passed ordiance to get BNSF trains to stop blowing whistles thru there (people are bothered by the noise).
Will be interesting if the USGA says no train whistles... I remember when my dad was engineer for GN and people complained about the switching noise in Bellingham yard. When people complained, he just slammed the cars a little harder and used the whistle more...LOL
Have to admit it looks better than the gravel pit does... but I'm not a golfer...
