Birds nesting on RR briges

So as to avoid hijacking the osprey thread below, there are other examples of birds nesting on railroad briges.

The Wingo drawbridge on the NWP has a big opening in the counterweight where extra weight can be added to ballance the bridge. Through most of my life barn owl's have made it their home. They stay hidden in the day but at dusk they come out and are around the bridge all night.

On the bottom side of the bridge there is an unbelieveable amount of swallow nests. Just about every crossbeam multiple nests on it. It's fun to take a boat under there and check them out.
