Pacific Great Eastern used them for their overnight train between Squamish and Quesnel. One sleeper, coaches, one with meal service, one "topless" with wooden seats. Express and Royal Mail were in a Pennsylvania 40 foot boxcar that was lost for many years. Power was two GE centercabs. Lots of stops; some were on the timetable.

Vancouver waterfront to Squamish by Union Steamship steamer - freight/passenger. Two intermediate stops. Bower Island, across from Britannia Beach was a real estate development by the company.
Also serviced the mine at Britannia Beach.

Guide service by a young RCMP officer in dress uniform.

Long weekend in about 1953.

A long ways from Andy's Diner.
