Mr. Buffett is not particularly worried about the details.

He paid $13,859 last year in property taxes.

Last year his salary (taxable) was $423,923, of which $100,000 was salary and $323,923 was company provided security. He also paid Berkshire Hathaway $50,000 to cover any personal costs paid by the company.

He enjoys what he does. He does not live extravagantly. The stockholders who have been with him for years think he walks on water. You would too if your retirement investment did as well.

He is leaving $10 million to each of his kids, "Enough so they can do something, but not enough so they can do nothing." Everything else goes to charity.

He won't be paying any capital gains taxes because none of it will be his... or his heirs.
