Hey mook
My impression from a few years ago- an eon in digital- is that jpeg recompresses each time a file is saved, and was characterized as "lossy", whereas the much bigger tifs and gifs are not.
Did that change?
A year or three ago there was a serious essay titled "The End of History" or I have paraphrased. Basically nobody gives a crap- we'll make it up if we need to.
As far as digital pix made on cell phones with wide views, I agree there is a lot of stuff [ the family word] posted on the internet that needs deletion within 60 seconds of capture, all part of the gee this is easy, can't wait to get the newest dingbat.
Why bother with an old Anna Moffo when you can get a brand new hippity-hop POS video with twerks
Quality sucks
