Amazing none of them got mugged and gang raped by crack head East Palo Altan's of the day. I can remember being offered drugs and booze from the local's trespassing on the west end of the span, back in the 90's(before it burned down)

Also amazing how decrepit the span became just 10 years later.

Anybody remember the old gun club by the west approach to the span that got shut down by the enviro-nazi's?
