This is the original ATSF 'tunnel route' south track (WB) mainline in Johnson Canyon, Arizona (located west of Williams; east of Ash Fork). This Supai-McLellan-Johnson Canyon-Welch line was abandoned after the new Crookton Cutoff was opened in December 1960.

The original north track (EB) mainline between Williams-Supai-Sereno-Corva-Ash Fork still serves Phoenix to Williams Junction trains today.
