Major fire in progress in Weed - CORP effect?

CHP working I-5 & SR97 closures in Weed and major evacuations. Large, fast-moving fire affecting parts of the town and the lumber mill. Check the Yreka office listing at [cad.chp.ca.gov] for details (probably only listed for the next hour or 2 while things are active). Couldn't find any local TV stations online that might carry news. Anybody local with a view and more information?

For those who like to make cute comments: yes, there is a town named Weed, near Mount Shasta in N. California. It is not a joke. A large lumber mill there is CORP traffic, just north of where UP turns off from I-5 toward Klamath Falls. [images.duckduckgo.com] [www.google.com]
