The car was still on the property and occassionally used through 2005, though by 2002 it had been repainted the solid red with white trim and no other markings. I want to say its last use was on a private photo charter in January 2005, the day before PLA's big snow trip. I don't remember seeing any photos of it used during the big July 4th weekend that year, nor was it out for the Civil War trains in early August, which turned out to be the last use of the #18 on the McCloud. And it was long gone before the #25 came back to life.
