Santa Fe Across Rogers Dry Lake

Gotta wonder how often the Santa Fe Mojave Sub. across Rogers Dry Lake flooded prior to the 1954 line relocation. According to Wikipedia, standing water does appear on the lake bed in wet years.
The old line is still plainly visible on Google Maps.
