Blurring of numbers seems to be a feature of streetview. I've seen house numbers, speed limit signs, license plates blurred. Don't remember noticing if other numbers, such as vehicle ID numbers (think UPS, USPS, buses, etc.), phone numbers on trucks (think a plumber's truck), etc., are generally blurred.
