La Selva Bridge Update – October 1, 2014

There was separation and lift off of girder span number 3 this afternoon at the La Selva Bridge work site.

On the North Slope the demolition of the upper portions of the piers continued.

At milepost 9 the carpenters worked on the forms for the pour that will take place later this month.

It was a beautiful day at the work site. As I looked out to sea pelicans were diving and feeding on an anchovy feast while whales were breaching with their mouths full.
