Sarcasm is a coping and defense mechanism tool that people can use to help them cope with tragedies they were part of but had no control over. Railroaders either tend to get very cynical and sarcastic about these incidents, or they really let it get to them. Persoanlly, I choose the former. You can't fix stupid.
