This one produces about 12-15 times more particulate and NOX for you to breath than the one next to it, and it's not even an Alco...

There used to be so much NOX that during the foggy nights along the LA River at Taylor RH, we'd have to cover our cars at night, since it formed nitric acid and it would ruin the paint job....? It would give you a nice peel. too. You could feel it actually burning your skin.

When you get around these really old diesel units you smell a lot of the unburnt fuel, it's like when you're around old 60's "muscle" cars and you smell all of that unburnt gasoline.

You are smelling things that we didn't even seem to notice back in the 60's, but now we really notice those smells, because all of the new vehicle around us are now just so much cleaner....
