I actuall came across the famious DPM (David P Morgan)edited editions from the middle 50's that would use ESPEE instead of SP or Southern Pacific.

Have used that ever since, even have two vehicles ESPEE98 and ESPEE99, wife has a plate ESPEE 2. Interesting we have only run into about 10 folks across the eastbay who know what the plates stand for.
