I wrote about the TR ops and TR conductor did reply with good info.

I am in the Oly area Mon - Fri and hear the trains on Tuesday/Fridays but not at a consistent time. 2 weeks ago, I was on the West side on Harrison on the west side of the water and heard TR in DT Olympia. I don't get to see if they are getting many loads out of the Port that I posted originally. Other times I am farther west on Harrison @ Cooper Point Rd and can hear TR horn sometimes indicating they are up on the Tumwater area switch Pepsi, et all

My goal this last summer was to get pics of TR crossing Capital Lake then up the hill to Tumwater. Didn't happen. Next spring will have to plan a day off and hope to catch them.

Since my original post I've seen TR once DT looked like they were switching cars near/across State St. But usually know in the area when I hear the horn
