Well, at least it escaped the clutches of the V&S / A&K Railway Supply with out being abandoned and having the track torn up. (That is the only reason that the V&S exists as a corporate entity, so that A&K can use the Surface Transportation Board OFA process to buy a viable line cheap,piss off all of the customers so that there is no traffic and then abandon it and make a tidy profit reselling the track material.) This is where the H&N was headed, I think it is the only line so far to survive V&S "operation" and ownership intact.
