If you go underneath the bridge to the parking lot that used to be the home of Saturday Market you can still see the stairway and catwalk that used to provide access to the island platforms in the middle of Burnside. You would walk down the stairs underneath the bridge, and use the catwalk to get to either sidewalk (or vice-versa).
