I love the photo! This is the west sdie of Bayshore Yard. The parade is about to cross old Hwy101 and walk up Geneva Avenue enroute to the Cow Palace. The large buildings at extreme right are part of the Shops complex. I don't remember what the smaller buildings were used for. Hidden by one of them (or just out of camera range) was a tiny Brisbane Fire Dept. building.
