Their status as employers, suppliers, and businesspeople in general isn't the real issue. I suspect that most of us have bought things made by Koch Industries, and probably even liked them. Some of us may know people who are happy to work for a Koch company. The problem arises when a small group of people (it's more than just the Kochs, though they seem to be the most visible ones at the moment) manipuplate the political system to prevent things from happening that might provide an alternative to what they produce, regardless of the side effects.
FWIW, look at the credits on many PBS programs. You'll find significant funding from Koch-supported foundations. Not all of the shows are Reason-type sales pitches; some are quite entertaining and actually informative on subjects that, if you read articles like this one, you would think the Kochs would loudly attack. So, like all humans, they aren't consistently one thing or another. That doesn't mean their more sociopathic tendencies should go unchallenged.
