Firstly, this article reveals a typical bias against industry with the reporters characterization of roller bearing as unglamorous. Secondy, you have an example of a responsible and civic minded industrialist being undermined by evil MBA types, seeking only to game the system. There was a time in this country when Timken was considered glamorous.
