This type of law is called FELA (Federal, Employee Liability Act) and there are not that many attorney's or firms that practice that. With in that law, there are also provisions of how much an attorney can charge, only 1/3 of the judgement is the max. But there are also other ways to compute expenses, etc, which has to be laid out after the verdict, before you sign off. That is the choice the employee has to make.
