A little bit of WWII military info about Bones and Phil.

Bones was in the US Army and participated in the New Guinea Campaign. For those who don't know that was some of the nastiest jungle fighting in the war.

Phil was in the US Marines, 4th Marine Division and invaded Iwo Jima. I think anyone who knows history knows what the fighting was like there.

These two old war horses idea of fun in their 80's was swigning a pick changing out ties by hand on the NCRY. They were pretty amazing.
