Most of the buildings from tyhe GGIE fair (39--40) were torn down by the NAVY. The two large hangars used by the Pan AM clippers and Billy Rose's aquacade still stand today!
In later years, the hangar from the Aquacade days turned into the 12th Naval District reserve training center. The other one was used by the Navy public works dept.
