Coal To Richmond--What Orange Coach Did I See in Crockett?

I was waiting for the coal unit train headed to Stege at Crockett when a westbound California Zephyr came by. It had an orange coach of some kind. I only saw it from my car and couldn't find a place to park to get a pic in time. Any idea what this car could have been? This was around 430. I was down at Port Costa to take a picture of the Zephyr when the coal trrain came around the corner at a crawl. It was forced to sit while four Amtrak trains went around it.
