For those who love these quirky and clever signs,
there is a book that has all the jingles as well as a
very interesting history of the company:

"The Verse by the Side of the Road", by Frank Rowsome,
1965, 121 pages, paperback.

Available various places, including Amazon,
Barnes & Noble, etc. Just Google the title. I highly
recommend it.

BTW -- according to the book, all Burma Shave signs were
pulled up by 1962, so any you see these days on highways
are repros or new signs, not originals.

Here are two other jingles -- not railroad-related:

Car in ditch
Driver in tree
Moon was full
And so
Was he
Burma Shave

When you drive
If caution ceases
You are apt
To rest
In pieces
Burma Shave

And another railroad-y one:

Remember this
If you'd
Be spared
Trains don't whistle
Because they're scared
Burma Shave
